Transient Tracer measurements during the Synoptic Arctic Survey on Icebreaker Oden 2021

During the Synoptic Arctic Survey cruise in the summer of 2021 a variety of different transient tracers were measured. On a continues basis measurements of CFC-12 and SF6 in water samples were caried out. In addition to that water samples for other tracers were collected at 6, so called transient tracer super stations. These other tracers were 39Ar, 14C, noble gases, 129I, 236U and Medusa tracers (HCFC-22. HCFC-141b, HCFC-142b, HFC-134a, HFC-125, PFC-14)

Purpose: With the help of the transient tracer data, we are getting more information on the Ventilation timescales in the central arctic ocean and it provides us information on the anthropogenic carbon uptake by the arctic ocean via the transit time distribution method
